The design process
Step 1. – consultation
The first step of any successful design project is to map out how your space can best reflect your needs and interior goals.
We’ll spend time getting to know you and your space, developing a clear view of how the project should take shape in order to achieve our objectives. From here, we will formulate and present a full proposal which incorporates timescales, budget and our design fee.
Step 2. – concept
Based on our initial consultation and following the development of a full project brief, we will produce detailed designs during the concept stage.
Concept designs encompass extensive mood boards featuring fabric samples and colour swatches, as well as images of proposed furniture, cabinetry, lighting, soft furnishings and finishes. Your designs will also incorporate full floor plans with proposed layouts, so you are able to begin to visualise the finished product.
We will present our concept designs to you in person, then collaborate to finalise our plans before moving onto the next stage.
Step 3. – design
Once you have approved the concept designs, we can advance to the full design and development stage of the interior design process.
As everything is tailormade for your home or project, we will specify dimensions, colour schemes and finer details for all furniture, cabinetry, soft furnishings, wall coverings, lighting schemes and fabrics.
At this point, we will also curate all of the finishing touches, submitting everything to you for approval. Carefully selected or commissioned art, beautiful accessories and precious items like favourite photographs or family heirlooms elevate a beautiful home into your unique space.
Step 4. – delivery
After a schedule of works is specified and approved, we can embark on delivering the project.
Delivering a full project design and management service, we will oversee all works and supervise architects, contractors and suppliers to ensure the project runs according to plan, keeping you up-to-date throughout.
Once all work is complete, we will snag, dress, style and clean the space, so it’s ready for you to start enjoying immediately.
